Tennis shoes
I'm hoping for some feedback about shoe choices. 3.5 level player and in the past have focused more or less on least cost shoe. Haven't found a shoe yet that suits me. I've tried Nike City Court (seems too narrow for my foot) Prince T7 (good but feels like I am plodding on the court) KSwiss (don't recall the style but feels like a lack of lateral support).
Playing a lot now so willing to pay more for a comfortable shoe. Any feedback welcome. Thank you!! |
Re: Tennis shoes
Adidas Barricades are good. From what I've seen of Nike's range (Rafa's and Roger's) they seem kind of narrow, especially Rafa's.

Re: Tennis shoes
The best tennis shoes I got as a present from Lotto. It was a special edition for Wimbledon. 5+ years now and they are in great condition. I use them both in clay and hard courts. They are very good on grass as well. But in general, Nike's shoes has the best fit but don't last long ;)

Re: Tennis shoes
I prefer Nike 2k10, Adidas Barricade 6.0 and 7.0

Re: Tennis shoes
Playing tennis is all about sudden starts and stops, as well as moving quickly from side to side. The trouble is that, during extreme stopping, cornering, and pivoting, if the sneaker's outsole is too rigid, the tennis player loses contact with the playing surface, which results in a loss of footing. In addition, since runners do not usually move sharply sideways, while "on the run," the running shoe sole is totally unsuitable for the sideways movements a tennis player makes.

Re: Tennis shoes
I prefer a flat shoe which is without heel; it is always good especially for tennis whether it is of Nike or Adidas.

Re: Tennis shoes
Whats the difference between Nike Lunar Vapor 9 and Nike 2k12?

Re: Tennis shoes
I always prefer Adidas because it is so comfortable that I can put my leg into shoes for long time.
