Re: Halle Entry List (updated April 29, 2010)
This is the tournament for Hewitt. He most probably won't be seeded and he might get an unlucky draw like Federer in the first couple of rounds so would be good to see what he can do after a long clay season. Good Luck to Peter Luczak as well.

First Wildcard for Kiefer. He told in an interview and it was already in the newspapers in Halle.

Davydenko prepares to return to tennis in Halle

Nikolay Davydenko, the Russian who has been out of tennis since March when an injury to his wrist that caused him to withdraw from Dubai was discovered to be a fracture, will return in Halle next week and is also scheduled to play a couple of matches at the Stoke Park exhibition the week before Wimbledon. The world No 5 and winner of the Barclays ATP World Tour finals last year is eager to make up for lost ranking opportunities, for he was only 420 ranking points behind Andy Murray when the last list was published.

Lleyton Hewitt is also in the Halle field. When the Net Post asked him if there was a specific reason why he would not be returning to Queen’s, he said that he was getting old. “I’ve got to try different things,” he added. “I’ve heard good reports about Halle.” It was an interesting answer but one wondered if it told the whole story.

Though Hewitt won his Wimbledon title eight years ago, he remains an excellent draw card – a lot of Australians are in London at this time of year – and the boat should have been pushed out further so that he could have come back.

Re: Halle Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated May 26, 2010)
Yeah, I have a feeling that the roof and Federer were a big part of the reson that Hewitt decided to play Halle. I also think the centre court at Halle is far superior to Queens with regards to providing that big match feel - if you can make it to the latter rounds.

3rd WC?

Re: Halle Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated May 26, 2010)
I hope Hewitt can cause a few upsets here in Halle, the last three years he has played some big players early on. In 2007 he played Tsonga at Queens and lost straight sets, 2008 he played Djokovic in the QF's and lost straight sets, then last year he lost to Roddick 3rd Round straight sets. So i hope he can get a few upset wins because the last few years in any tournaments espcically Grand Slams he hasn't been able to get any upset wins so good luck Lleyton.
