Add fuel to the fire aka Clay Season
The part of the season that makes Arno worst than he's already is coming
His schedule should be something like Casablanca, MC Qualies, Free Week, Rome Qualies, Estoril, Bordeaux, Nice, RG |

Re: Add fuel to the fire aka Clay Season
what a funny title!
these days the tourney schedules are so different, i feel so behind. somehow i don't remember having a 7 weeks run up to RG, what a long miserable time we're going to have  |
Re: Add fuel to the fire aka Clay Season
With Flo they had a huge loss today
Arno surely started his practice on clay few days ago and I think Casablanca will be a training session  as he plays a qualifier Ivan Pastor Navarro who has already played 3 matches here and who was playing the challengers on clay in the past weeks. I think that winning a set would be already good :devil:He will play on center court so we should have pics :) |
Re: Add fuel to the fire aka Clay Season
63 63
Navarro's game really suits to Arno :) his serve and volleys make arno plays some brilliant shots. Arno plays better along the match with not too many UE,the forehand was quite nice today and was lucky as he had a tons of good net calls and line calls  Navarro was not great and not playing a typical clay court game has help Arno. Well, a win on clay :)Next is Kubot who loves the clay. Instead of Rome qualies Arno will make Tunis Challenger anf for Nice he's far from the cut sohe could have another free week before RG. He plays again tomorrow but on court 2  no livestream |
Re: Add fuel to the fire aka Clay Season
One win ! I had predicted ANY win on clay this year, eheheheh I've be mistaken. lol

Re: Add fuel to the fire aka Clay Season
Yay! :woohoo:
Maybe it boosts his confidence a little on clay. :D |
Re: Add fuel to the fire aka Clay Season
first match is a win    (i guess there was no pressure at all)
soulage you really are a true fan :worship: watching live stream of clement v navarro, on the day after easter. i don't think any one else on this forum could be bothered! lol |
Re: Add fuel to the fire aka Clay Season
No fuel enough in casablanca...he lost 6/4 6/1.
Good news: he has time to go back home to relax before the next tournament ? (which one ?) |
Re: Add fuel to the fire aka Clay Season

Re: Add fuel to the fire aka Clay Season
He gets Smirnov, the young guys who is always in MC qualies even if nobody knows him  Kubot lost 1-6/0-6 to Starace today  Arno must have played incredible tennis wednesday  Smirnov plays only on clay and Arno could offer him his best win on tour tomorrow

Re: Add fuel to the fire aka Clay Season
yes the loss to kubot sounds bad, even though i don't know where kubot's ranked these days
at least no one pays attention to qualies  |
Re: Add fuel to the fire aka Clay Season
57/75/62 in 2 hours and 45 min  It was surely une purge  According the stats he saved 10/13 BP surely many deuce games. Well at least he fight  For tomorrow he will be tired vs Golubev and it should be less longer. No doubles.

let's hope that he can at least make it to the main draw  |
Re: Add fuel to the fire aka Clay Season
Short today  under 1 hour, winning only 3 games  He will surely stay some days in MC as he's the first players in case of LL spot after it will be the longest break of the year, two weeks without tournaments sounds amazing
Some reactions about this two matches. Yesterday after his win vs Smirnov he was joking again about himself saying that it has been tough but as he doesn't win a lot of matches it was nice  Quote:
