Post-junior generation (1992) : ATP Race points 2011 and career best rankings

This thread is about ATP results of generation 1991 (post-junior generation for this year 2010).

In this first post, I will update every week (if I'm brave enough  ) the stats which I'm following, and which I would be glad if you could correct them if you see some mistakes ;) :

- the ATP points earnt since the 1st of january 2010 (the so-called "Race") (top-10 players only but you can complete them if you want ;) ) : the points in futures will be included at once in the end of the week, opposite to the ATP ranking rules (they wait one week more before including them) ... but only the best 18 results in that period will be included, like for the ATP

- the "carreer best" rankings achieved by the best players from that generation (I hope I can put all those who have achieved the top-1000 although it will be hard  )

This first post will be updated every week (or nearly if I go on holiday  ... but Springer89 may update the result when I'm not here ;) )

No change in that top-10 last week.

most remarkable from that generation were futures quarterfinals for Herbert (in France) and Obry (in Turkey) from France, and from Ehrat (Switzerland) in his country.

Marvin Barker moved to NZ to live.

Overlooked for AIS , 2009 , and again 2010, when ranked 950 ATP ,,,, " youth policy " ? he was only 17 . Players six mths younger got in with no ranking. ?

Crazy shit that is.

Duong, it is awesome you bring us these stats,,, good to watch players via age and how much things change over the years.

Re nationalities best to just put the nationality of the player down as to what they are on ATP website, that must be who they want to play for if listed that way.

Your info is interesting.

Re: Post-junior generation (1991) : ATP Race points 2010 and carreer best rankings

First post updated on the 12th of april.

Many good results last week :

- future win for Wu Di in a 15,000 $ future in China, beating 4 seeds : Gong Mao-Xin, Daniel Yoo, Bradaric, Moser
- future win for Carreno-Busta in Spain : Carreno-Busta takes number 1 in the above "Race"
- future final for Shuichi Sekiguchi in Japan, second good result in a row, and his ATP ranking will improve much next week
- future semifinal for Grigelis in Spain : he improves regularly in the above Race
- future semifinal for Domijan in the USA : the best USA from this generation as far as results in adults tournaments are concerned, better than Buchanan, Britton or Williams
- future quarterfinal for Jose Pereira in Brasil

Moreover I would like to note that Lim Yong Kyu just came back. He made many good results in the first half of last year but had problems later. He had not played yet this year, which probably means that he was injured. His rankings might drop in next weeks because his results from last year will drop, but let's hope he will come back well :)

Here are the ATP ranking improvements this week :

Code:

Kuznetsov 278 (prev. 280)
Yang Tsung-Hua 309 (prev. 310)
Puc 596 (prev. 602)
Ehrat 838 (prev. 839)
Sekiguchi 856 (prev. 1025)

Britton is really struggling and Buchanan is playing at No.1 for OSU in College and Rhyne Williams is playing for Tennessee on No.3 in College. Both have chances to win the team championship this year there.
So it is good to understand they not earn too many ranking points.
Domijan is not in college.
Britton is a big dissappointment this year.
