After a nice wekeend against Netherlands, France will play in 2010 in the World Group. :)

They're lucky it's one of the best draw for the unseeded teams and at home great.

Indoor hard court surely. Then Switzerland or Spain.

I updated my first post with the draw ;)
They got "lucky" for the first round after but this part is intense with Spain, Switzerland, Russia and Argentina :eek:

The first round will be from the 5th until the 7th of March ;)

As all these ties would be home-ties for France: Time to build-up an appropriate facility on grass. :p

We need Richard to really get his comeback going before we do that :p. I don't want to count on Gael and Gilles to win 5 sets matches on grass, especially Gael! He would probably break a bone before the end of the third set.

They have no shame, this is about 75% more expensive than the Maastricht tie :(


Basically it will open on the 20th january for everyone, but if you have a license in a french club, you can buy immediatly your tickets.

Is anyone planning to go ? I might go myself, with a friend, if she can and if I can, the usual university problems.

Do you think there will have a fifth guy for this tie ? It's in france so maybe it's not very useful Now that we are quite sure about the main team JO/Gael/Llodea/Benneteau i'm wondering about the sustitute guy :confused: Gilles maybe. Are there some news about the germans ? Kohli seems not in a great shape, Haas either and we don't know if he well play anyway I only see Petzchner in form lately.

No, there are no news about the German team since Haas hasn't given his answer yet. The only sure thing is that Andi Beck and Kiefer are out.
Maybe Haas will change his mind after his last tournaments were so blah, at least he can't complain anymore that he's tired... But nobody expects him to play.
The expected team atm is Kohlschreiber-Mayer-Berrer-Petzschner (Kohli-Petzsche in doubles). Maybe Zverev if he does very well in Marseille.

Edit: well, Beck isn't officially out yet, but since he hasn't played a match in 2010, I don't see him on the team, no matter how good his DC début was.
