Also over the past 4 years there has been a player that has come from nowhere to make a serious run over the 2 weeks. In 2005 it was Safin, 2006 Baghdatis, 2007 Gonzalez and last year it was Tsonga. Who are we all predicting as the "sleeper" for this year? |
Re: 2009 Australian Open - Futures

Re: 2009 Australian Open - Futures
Davydenko looks like a big price at 50/1. If he's in a half with Nadal Murray he could reach the final.
not sure about the sleeper. I'd have to look into it more. |

Re: 2009 Australian Open - Futures
Can't see Simon having yet another great year and especially not in a slam. I already mentioned Berdych, Soderling might have what it takes as well. He came close at Wimbledon 2 years ago already when he should have beaten Nadal.

Re: 2009 Australian Open - Futures
doubt Toad can do anything on a big scene....true he almost beat Nadal but he was a huge underdog...doubt he will do it when favorite or in 50-50 match...just doesnt sound like him,, .Čilić sholud do well too..
