Alex plays in Madrid this week in the spanish Masters.
He'll play Jacobo Diaz today around 6pm.

I got the info from www.tenispain.com , then go to "Nacional Campeonatos" then "De Espana, Absolutos" and "Masculino".
They don't have livescores but the draw (final masc) is updated during the day.

Alex lost as he retired at the score 45 :sad: .
On ElMundoDeportivo it's said it was a "contractura en las cervicales". I'm not 100% sure with medical phrases but it seems it's Alex neck again that bothered him last fall/winter already.

Hi Fans!
I have some not so good news from Alex.He has withdraw from the
Tournament in Gstaad because of his neck injury. :sad:
On Alex website he wrote,that his next Tourny will be Stuttgart.He hi also in the playerslist of Kitzbühel.I hope his injury is not too bad!
btw. the site with Fotos from Alex is great!

he will in Stuttgart again, next week, so, I think it's not too heavy

just hope he'll do well there....every 2 years he's good in summer clay saison ( 1998, 2000, 2002...now 2004? :confused:)

allthough his official site still says he does....
but he's not in the draw, I hope so much for Florian he will play Kitzbuhel next week..

I have some sad news!I have just read in a austrian Newspaper,that Alex will not play Kitzbühel because of his neckinjury! :bigcry: :bigcry:
What another frustrating year for Alex! We all thaught,that this year will be better than last year and now that injury.That is really not fair.So lets cross
our fingers,that this injury will not take too long, so we can see him at the american hard court tournaments.
