Dan's Horse Racing Challenge
 

Right i think its time to start my own little thread on this sport that isn't very popular here but over the last few weeks ive been making some very nice profits.

Over the next month i will post daily selections based on 10 units per day, that could be on one banker or several speculative horses, all profits will be based on sp price to avoid confusion. My aim is to generate a profit of at least 20 units at the end of this month period, the main reason for this thread is just to give people another view on what i consider a profitable sport and to keep a record for myself.

Don't particularly follow Horse Racing myself other than knowing what the bad eachways are each day ( ;) ), but isn't the point of having a themed thread is that you post all of your plays?

That gives you an honest look over the course of the year/season of your stats within the thread. It's just my opinion, but plays win or lose that aren't posted in a thread of this kind are of no relevance to the thread.

True m8 but its good fun plus i dont take gambling that serious win or lose its all good fun, put it this way i dont rely on making money from gambling i work for my money

Nail on the head mate, same for me.

This was for a bit of fun really, i dont have the time to post every selection so im just trying out the 10 unit technique to see what profit it yields.

Will probably start this up again just after boxing day.

Right ive realised i dont have anywhere near enough time to keep this going so i'll just post a few fancies now and again and i have one for tonight.

7.20 Wolverhampton

Its only a 4 horse race and ive eliminated 2 of them already and i will be taking Tiger Spice, i think the favourite is a false one because although it ran in a higher class race last time out it was still fairly weak and it has been penalised by the handicapper for it. I think Tiger Spice has just as much potential but runs off a 6 pound lower weight and the trainer only sends this horse to the entire meeting. The current 15/8 is generous i think.
