Well, like i already said, i missed a Daniel Brands cheering thread here because in my opinion, he might be one of germans most talented players. He shows good skills and of course, with his 2.00m height, an incredible service. ;)

From January to last week he increased his ATP Ranking from 526 to 249....

I saw him last friday in Wolfsburg and he was, well, better than expected. He has decent volley.

I saw him last year losing vs Berrer... think it was 26 67 or something like that. Wasn't really a good match, maybe because there were a few rain delays.
But he won the 2nd round in Kyoto in 3 sets against a japanese wildcard to join quarterfinals. there he will meet yen-hsun lu, surely a stronger opponent..

I saw his two matches live and it looked quite okay, at least some potential was visible. An indoors player :p

I saw him this week in Freudenstadt. Great service and a very hard-hitting guy who plays "Boom-Boom-Tennis". Interesting to watch.

Nevertheless, he doesn´t move very fast and he always plays the same with no surprising shots. For this reason he has lost most of his matches against opponents who have a higher ranking.

He has potential for the Top 100, no doubt, but I cannot believe that he can be a Top 50 player.
