The 31-year-old three-times Roland Garros winner has been sidelined with hip injuries over the last three years and he has already said that he is planning to retire this summer after one final appearance in Paris. His French Open wins were in 1997, 2000 and 2001. He also won the Masters Series final in 2000, the year he was briefly ranked No. 1 in the world.
