Dear All

I had the most fantastic time in Paris for the last two days. I wish I was still there but reality and my job has intervened.

Nico played so well to win his two qualifying matches. He thoroughly deserves to end the season in style and I hope he plays well enough to beat Fernando (who is another favourite of mine).

Suffice it to say, Nico is currently in a very good mood after winning his qualifying matches and it was great to see him be so happy.

BTW - I understand two audio interviews after his matches over the weekend are available to listen to via the BNP Paribas tournament website - although I cant get access to them at present.

Hope to hear from some of you later.

hey sara,
it´s great to hear from your great weekend! i am so* glad to hear, that nico is feeling and doing :) so well at the moment, i really hope he´ll manage to beat fernando, who is one of my very favourites, too, but nico is definitely no. 1 so my fingers are crossed for him! anyway, did you manage to talk a bit with nico?
see you, jule

I wish I could even go to Paris :) . You're sooo lucky that you could be there! :D .
I'm glad that Nico is happy :D . Nico shared his no1 spot for a while with one other fav, Fred Hemmes Jr. He retired from tennis a few months ago, because he didn't like it anymore. I read an interview yesterday that he was really depressed and had a hard time choosing between quitting and going on (it took him 18 months to decide), so I'm really glad that my other no1 fav is happy :D .

unfortunately nico lost 7-6, 5-7, 5-7  ! i would have loved to see that match, it must have been great. i followed the live scores on eurosport-text and verdasco lead in the third set with a break 5-3, then nico came back but eventually lost the match though. but i have to mention again...í think it´s a good sign hat he´s fighting so hard and not giving up easily, even though he´s a bit tired these days as sara told us...just to figure out the postive aspects!
anyway, let´s see what happens the following weeks, i´m curious if he´s really going to play the south-american challengers he´s signed in for. if so...best luck for it!

I have the pleasure to see Nico in Lyon and Paris, i have tons of pics for you :)
I'm sorry that he lost but i'm happy that his tennis is back, in Lyon he should have won, i don't understand what happen really, sorry i'm off-topic. For Bercy, it was a very good match, 2h30 of very good play ... my pics of Lyon are ready, not those from Paris, as i came back today...

@Jule: i don't forget you ;) in fact, i have taken a lot of pics of Nico especially for you ;) i'll writte you a mail today

I also watched the match on E'Sport-text and cheered him on from there... (Nico, didn't you hear my constant "Vamos!"??? ;)) I was sad too, and somehow I had the impression (I know I can't prove it at all, as I haven't been in Paris) that Nico was very sad too, because he had seen the chance to proceed to next round.

Nico, the loss is a bit stupid, but you got some points for the ER though and remember you still have the chance to further improve your ranking. Vamos in Guayaquil!
