Saw Sweeting play a small charity exo on Sept. 22nd with Robert Kendrick. He looked pretty healthy then. The food poisoning comes at an unfortunate time, for sure. Hopefully, Sweeting can play a few more challengers this fall and improve his ranking before the Aussie Open.
He has only 35 points to defend for the rest of the year (Tiburon Challenger). He can still make the AO maindraw if he do well in the next couple of tournaments I think. And welcome to MTF .
Thanks, SapELee! I'm curious as to whether Sweeting will also play the smaller events like Knoxville and Champaign. Is the increase in AO prize money added motivation to do well at challengers this fall, or is it more about the big picture?
