Well I dont think he has one, and even if he does it is probably lost somewhere. Reached the final last week in the Sunrise challenger beating some good opponents on the way before losing to Monfils.

Today he just beat Dorstch to qualify for his 2nd master series in a row and hopefully his improving form can continue within the tournament with a good draw.

Not the best day for Andy, he was leading 2 breaks in the 1st set against Nieminen and lost 6-4 and then at 5-6, he lost the serve and the match. Nieminen is a tough opponent and I think Andy is still a fair way from his best form.

He and King Oscar lost their doubles as well after winning a round, well I hope he gets a WC to Roma.

As I said Seppi just seems to have that knack of losing even when in great positions. Mentally he really needs to mature, Im sure in time he will, but he seems a nervous player. His talent is unquestioned, one of the top 50 easily in terms of talent, even better, but his mentality is questionable.

Seppi should have got a WC to the main draw, but he got a WC to qualies instead. Just has to make it 4 qualifications to TMS events.

After the shit with not getting a WC, he plays Spadea in the 1st round of qualies. This will be the best time to get to Spadea, as he came from slow Estoril to the fast courts of Rome and will have less time to adjust.

(1)Guillermo Canas (ARG) vs Alessio Di Mauro (ITA)
(11)Florent Serra (FRA) vs Thomas Fabbiano (ITA)

(2)Max Mirnyi (BLR) vs Igor Kunitsyn (RUS)
(13)Oscar Hernandez (ESP) vs Alberto Martin (ESP)

(3)Kristof Vliegen (BEL) vs Federico Luzzi (ITA)
(10)Teimuraz Gabashvili (RUS) vs Janko Tipsarevic (SRB)

(4)Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo (ESP) vs Davide Sanguinetti (ITA)
(8)Michael Russell (USA) vs Michael Llodra (FRA)

(5)Albert Montanes (ESP) vs Victor Hanescu (ROU)
(12)Vincent Spadea (USA) vs Andreas Seppi (ITA)

(6)Nicolas Massu (CHI) vs Alejandro Falla (COL)
(14)Ivo Karlovic (CRO) vs Stefano Galvani (ITA)

(7)Juan Martin Del Potro (ARG) vs Fabio Fognini (ITA)
(9)Amer Delic (USA) vs Luis Horna (PER)

Good stuff there from Andy winning 1-6 6-4 6-2. Slow start and didn't hold serve at all for the 1st set, then he got to 3-0 in the second and was able to hold it from there.

It will be tough against Montanes, but he can make it through to the MD again.

#58 ·
Yes difficult but still a good chance. I also feel he should have got a WC but maybe they were still p!ssed after he lost the davis cup opening rubber ;) Anyway lets just hope he is in the MD, Montanes is difficult.

#59 ·
Yes, I am a bit biased when it comes to Andy :) , he should have got the 4th one, but the Davis Cup could be a factor.

Andy knows how to play qualifying matches and Montanes won't be easy, but Seppi is in his home country and if he gets his backhand down the line working well then he can have some success in this match.

I was saying to Genci before, his serve worries me and could hold him back, he doesn't serve high enough 1st serve percentages and doesn't use his height well.

Andy failed to qualify for Rome losing to Montanes 7-6 6-4, he actually started well and then dropped serve twice and Montanes served for the 1st set at 5-4, but Andy played another poor tiebreaker.

Lost the serve at 5-4 while trading breaks and now he's out and off to Hamburg where he is 4th alternate from the qualies.

Andy is playing Vliegen in the 1st round of qualies in Hamburg and he has a 4-0 H2H over hi, hope he makes it 5.

Then he will play the King or Berlocq.

#65 ·
The doubles partners from Barcelona and this will be a very tough match and as much as I like the King, Seppi needs it more.

#67 ·
Seppi beat a young Austrian named Reissig today in the quali 1st round. Hopefully he can qualify this week. Dolgopolov stands in his way, winnable.

#68 ·
Good to see Andy playing in Pörtschach, this is just to get some match practice for RG and he really should not have many problems in qualifying for the main draw.

#70 ·
I think Andy has his flight booked to Athens for an important match and he will be back in Paris on Thursday.

#71 ·
Andy must have been happy with the football result and now back to tennis, well he got a tough match first up, but anything can happen as he is playing Moya in the 1st round.

#73 ·
Andreas is playing one of his usual matches and the score shows it

1/6 6/3 3/6 4/0 (to resume tomorrow)

shjame they had to stop as the momentum seemed with him
let's hope for tomorrow

#74 ·
Yes I think he would have won if the match continued. Moya is very lucky and Seppi showing himself to be good, but inconsistent again. Tomorrow I think Seppi will take the set, but lose the decider as the rest will help Moya alot more.

#75 ·
Seppi can still win this match and just hope that they get it completed today.

#77 ·
Here are a couple of pics from the match.

#78 ·
Moya won 6-1 3-6 6-3 2-6 6-0

The coming back today stopped Andy's momentum when he had it in the 4th, but this is a tough draw for him and just hope he can fight and do well in Prostejov.
