The TB sealed Paulo's fate indeed. This loss makes me want to use some of the banned melodramatic smilies, Jai. Instead I'll use for Paulo, I knew this was too perfect a tennis day to be true. :awww:
I hope he will fell good after this loss, he should have won this match.... I'm so sad for him, he has to fight again and again until he has good draws... Paulo lost his confidence, and I hope he won't play badly in Roland because people in France will not be good with him if he plays bad..

Paulo played very well today, nice comfortable win. The Bet365 commentator said at the start of the second set, when Paulo was having some BPs on Gremelmayr's serve : "Looks like he's on a mission for lunch"
Paul-Henri Mathieu, the No. 7 seed from France, cruised past Algerian lucky loser Lamine Ouahab 6-3, 6-2. World No. 39 Mathieu, who was a semi-finalist (l. to Bolelli) on his debut in Munich last year, broke serve three times from seven opportunities and surrendered just 11 points on serve in the 66-minute match.
The 27-year-old Mathieu will look to win back-to-back tour-level matches for the first time since reaching the semi-finals in Brisbane (l. to Verdasco) at the start of the season when he faces Denis Gremelmayr in the second round. The German advanced when Argentine opponent Martin Vassallo Arguello retired with a lower back injury when trailing 1-5 in the first set.
