Post your favourite shots, or rallies of 2012. Video's would be nice, but if you can't find one, just mention it.

I'll start us off with a recent one.

not as flashy as i thought it would be but that is an insane shot to pull off

Lopez completely not expecting it though :rolls:

This is the shot of Gasquet. Similar to a backhand overhead pass he hit against Nadal in the 2007 Masters Cup (actually that one was perhaps even more impressive). I've never seen anyone else do it, so it's impressive that Gasquet proved it's not a fluke.

edit: sorry the embed doesn't work (irritating IOC)

This is blocked

Yes, for anyone who plays and understands tennis this shot is insane, hard to believe, but for some reason it doesn't look that spectacular.

But it's indeed a really hard one to pull off

A couple of good points from important Grand Slam matches:

Surely not the most entertaining rally of the year without trickshots or impossible gets. However, one of the most impressive rallies of the year in my mind is certainly this epitome of the baseline game between Djokovic and Murray. Massive moment, massive point, ebb and flow, and of course, the mental strength of the Serbian shining through. Point beginning at 11:45 in this video

Nadal played a quite absurdly good match against (the admittedly disappointing) Ferrer in the RG semi-final. There were a few outrageous shots but the point starting at 10:00 is probably just about the pick of the bunch, outrageous court speed, defence and trademark forehand pass to finish.

Important, but boring point ending on an error. They've had hundreds of more entertaining rallies this year alone.

Paire hit two great shots here. Unfortunately the quality is terrible.

The most entertaining game of tennis, not necessarily the best. The last one starting at 1:46 looks like a candidate.

I remember this match, pure entertainment.

But the first point in this one is more spectacular imo and defo deserves a top position in the year rankings

Gasquet has every reason to celebrate like that after this shot.

Point at 5:45. Makes it even more incredible when you add the situation to it, crazy attacking from Berdych yet even crazier defense from Nadal.

The whole first set in that match had a lot of great points, I think every point in the tiebreak ended on a winner too which is insane considering they played 12 points in it!

Breathtaking. I don't know how he does it sometimes.
