Against such an opponent he really has to force the Centre Court match-up with Nadal and I have a good hope that won't look patheticly in that match.

haha really? :haha: But with Bandermann, sometimes I would also ignore some questions maybe :p he's just asking in a strange way sometimes

I didn't see it yet, but I will fast forward through the recording and maybe get to see how it was.

Heh, Kiwi was smiling and said that today there were no problems, since it was a clear matter. :D

But what exactly happened 3 years ago? I already forgot.

Oh, and according to him Germany will win tomorrow's match against Turkey with the following score: 5:1. :D

I think it wasn't a real big thing, but enough for the match that there were some negative vibes between them. Maybe it was a discussion about a call about which I wrote in my old post http://www.menstennisforums.com/showpost.php?p=1867489&postcount=39

:scared:   At Halle after a match, he also picked Germany to win over Croatia by two goals, I believe. And we now know what happened :p

But let's hope he is right this time :)

thanksfully no surprises today! :yeah:
Kiwi beats VA 6-0 6-1 6-3 and gets the big match against Nadal!

I don't think he will beat him, but please give him a good fight! :bounce:

 I thought of you the other day when I was watching Germany play! I don't know who I'll be cheering for on Sunday since I only watch ~soccer~ once like every other year , but I know who I'll be cheering for tomorrow.

Nadal def. Kiefer 7-6(3) 6-2 6-3

But good to see that Kiwi could enjoy the match at the end as he got fired up for some more minutes after finally breaking Nadal the first time in the match.

He played a very intense first set, but after that you could see that his tension began to fall. Like against Nadal in the Davis Cup match. It seems to be just too tough to play like that for a longer time to force Nadal to a close set, or even win a set.

So that just completely reminded me why I loved Kiwi. The end of the third my friend was like "See! He's trying to make you like him again!" But realistically, that started the second he walked on court. ;) He couldn't stop the inevitable, but he sure made it enjoyable... especially when he started smiling and getting the crowd involved. Let's hope he stays injury free for a long time!!! I love having him back. :)
