I guess everybody's still disappointed from the big loss at Wimbly, and with the end of our beloved QF streak, and that's why no one's opened this thread yet. So I just kind of snuck in with my hopelessly crabby brand of wit in the title!
Anyways, as they say - the show must go on!
So here's wishing Roger a new streak of Hamburgers and Frankfurters to keep him healthy for the second half of the season!
A new beginning: 2nd rd is with either Lorenzi or Brands.
Re: Hamburgers and Frankfurters for Roger: THE HAMBURG THREAD: Def Hajek 6-4 6-3
Really? it must of been cramps from the cold weather hence why he put the sweater on because i didn't see any time during the match where he could've tweaked it . but he still was moving fine and his ball striking was still not affected .sounds to me like cramps , if that's the case , some good stretching and keeping his back warm will do the trick.

Re: Hamburgers and Frankfurters for Roger: THE HAMBURG THREAD: Def Mayer 7-6 (4) 3-6
I think we have to accept that Fed isn't flexible like he used to be and he won't bend on the serve as far, whether his back is ailing him or not. He isn't going to go back to 2007 where he bent almost in half.

Ended up watching a replay of the match a few hours ago, my god was i nervous in the 3rd. Must have been hell watching it live! Anyway, I hope Roger's back isn't an issue again for today. His serves weren't up to scratch yesterday for the most part

You watched without knowing the result? I've often done so myself, when possible.
As a "live-watcher" I'll say it was nerve-wrecking all right. And yes, we all hope the back is OK today. Two aces yesterday and few free points on serve was not promising.
Yes guys I'm here and enjoy!! seems that Roger doesn't enjoy.. not an easy first set..
I sit right behind the chair umpire in the 11th row, sun is strong

That DF 1st point when Roger served last, pretty sure I saw him watching the influx of spectators before he served, he should have waited a bit. Came back to bite him in the rear

Still shaking my head... just can't believe Fed is giving back breaks so easily
