I guess everybody's still disappointed from the big loss at Wimbly, and with the end of our beloved QF streak, and that's why no one's opened this thread yet. So I just kind of snuck in with my hopelessly crabby brand of wit in the title!
Anyways, as they say - the show must go on!
So here's wishing Roger a new streak of Hamburgers and Frankfurters to keep him healthy for the second half of the season!
A new beginning: 2nd rd is with either Lorenzi or Brands.
Well, you're also wrong then.
I know it's difficult to not-watch the match with passion and wanting Fed to win so badly, but watching that first set again would be a good thing to reconsider to call Delbonis a virtual scrub.
But whatevs, I won't tell you what to do.
Re: Hamburgers and Frankfurters for Roger: THE HAMBURG THREAD: Def Mayer 7-6 (4) 3-6
This is the problem with the bigger guys , they can be ranked 1 in the world, 200 in the world but if they have a day where everything goes in they can beat anyone.
Rosol?
Delbonis so far?

Duckroger isn't a troll, and tbh, he's just expressing what I'm sure many of us here think. Heck, i said pretty much the same thing about Flo Mayer yesterday, I was so upset about the trouble Rog was having with someone who'd never even managed to take a set off him in a gazillion meetings. We know matches v the top 20 or top 30 are going to be hard... you just don't expect this constant having to stave off defeat with players 40 and below

Well, I personally think (only watching yesterday's match on youtube) that Fed's playing a little better.
Not exactly good as last year in this part of the year, or even in this year's AO, but better than Rotterdam, and some other matches.
Now, if so many people think Delbonis is that bad of a player, I recommend them to watch the match. The guy's giving a great fight and playing good tennis.
He'd be troubling any other player.

What is even more infuriating is that these whatever-tiered players you want to call them, win the game and then you don't hear diddly-squat from them for the next millenium
