Winter.
Like being cool, plus it's easier to warm up in winter than to cool down in summer. For those of us w/o pools/air conditioning at least. Like the silence of winter too, no massively annoying pigeons waking me at 06:00am.
Emphatically not summer. Easily my least favorite season. But outside that it's very tough for me to choose. As a little kid, winter was my favorite but my tolerance to cold seemed to die around age 12. I think for me it's
Autumn
Spring
Winter
Summer
I dislike winter, yep it looks beautiful the first 2 days, then it gets muddy and dirty.
The short days and the temperatures make me depressive. Really, winter sounds better than it really is. It is pain.
All the people who live closer to the equator, you should be happy you don't have to endure it.
Sommer is wonderful.
That is an enchanting period indeed. By January and February though, many Canucks are staring into full-spectrum lights and hanging on for dear life. The warmer/brighter light of late March is like resurrection--"Canadians, come forth!" :haha: Then we come out like zombies
Spring (September to November). Days get longer, spring blossoms, thunderstorms, warm days but generally without the high humidity of summer, and about the only time of year you won't get prolonged rainy weather.
I voted for summer, which took it over spring, because it's the full throttle amateur tennis season, the rain delays are very rare and tennis is in the air all 4-5 months long.
From an unrelated to tennis point of view (hard for me to imagine though) would be the spring, with all the flowers, rain, sunshine, perfect temperatures, etc.
