I'm not a regular any longer in MTF and I'd just found this sad and surprising news. I'm still in shocked to find that he paased away. He was an amazing poster. One of the few that made this forum still worth to be read. I had the priviledge to had written once a tournament report in his forum. My condolences to his family, friends and beloved ones as well as the people who had appreciated him in this forum in different stages. Rest in peace.

I haven't posted on this forum in years ( 10 years since I joined), but I visit regularly, I'm an MD who takes care of folks with cystic fibrosis, and I'm Irish, so this got my attention.

RIP Stephen Kelly.

If anyone wants to do something positive in memory of this forum member, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is an exceptional charity. They are making genuine strides to conquer this terrible disease....

I very rarely post on this site anymore because as we all know The Duck has retired from playing tennis.
However, I do come here to keep up with tennis, and laugh--a lot.

But I did want to say, I'm very sad to read that Henry died. It's just very sad to me.

My thoughts and prayer go out to his friends, family, and fans on Men's Tennis Forums.

We had the Irish futures idea on the betting forum Henry used to post on too. Getting one named in his honour, and raising money for cystic fibrosis both online and locally, perhaps getting streaming set up for the week etc too. Would be sure to get a good response from the Irish players he's supported down the years. Maybe Bercuzzi could even make a guest appearance.... It's in early stages but we'll try to get moving with it.

Perhaps in the long term we can have a Henry Chinaski Open every year.... funded by contributions from forum members.

Sad when anyone has to die from such a terrible disease. I wish his family the best.

For me its a reminder that it's easy to forget that real people with real problems are on the internet and I should not use the internet forum as a way to blow of steam and treat people like shit.

Great guy, will be missed. It's sad in a way, but the most important thing is that, despite his health issue, he seemed to live his life to the fullest:

Hello from Budapest folks. Just fulfilled a lifelong ambition and scored a Kiwi and I was so shit hot that she fell asleep like 2 seconds after, which is why Im sitting like an asshole bored drinking alone talking on an internet forum. Mixed bag of feelings right now.
I mean, how many guys here have a Kiwi flag?

RIP Steve.

Wow It is hard to believe that he was basically posting up till his death. His last post was for Jack Sock the real #1 on 10/28. Crazy to think his dedication to tennis lasted until the very end.

RIP tennis enthusiast, may there be in MTF in heaven for you to post on.
