Re: Good luck in your next tournament Ernests, always supporting you thru good and bad

Can someone please explain why he will be out of the top 60 next week? He didn't play Estoril, Belgrade or Munich last year so I am very confused!

Also, very sad loss he has a long way to go judging by the stats but I have faith he will get back up and have excellent results this year! To be honest it may be a good thing that he isn't seeded for Roland Garros he has never won a match when he was seeded...

Last year Rome was played this week and the Rome points are dropping on 02-05-2011.

Re: Good luck in your next tournament Ernests, always supporting you thru good and bad

Drop date for Rome is indeed 2nd May.

These are other reasons why the rankings will look strange for some players on that date, all because of a switch up in order of tournaments and points.

Estoril Belgrade and Munich are NOT coming off from 2010
Going on are Estoril Belgrade and Munich from 2011 !!!

If he could do ok at one of the Slams all would not be lost. Entry rankings as at 9th May are used for this years Wimbledon. Things look a bit precarious but all is not lost.

Tough one against Kevin Anderson - hope he can pull it off! (please no one say it will be an easy match every time we expect him to win he doesn't!)

Yes, he can. Well the entry list is before six weeks what mean he can play until Queens with his last week ranking.

I think this match will be tough. Fognini is a good player who has given a lot of players trouble in the past. We aren't sure how well Ernests is doing both physically and mentally. Although he seems to be practicing well and getting better, it's going to be his first match coming from being ill so it's normal if he is a bit shaky. I remain positive though. Any match play now is great experience before Roland Garros. I hope he does well out there!
