Very good draw for Karol in his comeback but Igor doesn't have the best of draws after his R1. He's been competitive on clay so that means he should be strong on hard, but we'll see.

The only acceptable final is Kunitsyn v Beck, so let's all hope that happens. Also, hopefully Martin takes out Matosevic and GL to Bemelmans to make the SF.

Kon brings in the crowds.

Great, great volley from Igor at 5 all in the tiebreaker to take a *6-5 lead and he closed it out there. Saved 5/6 BPs in the second set. All he had to do was be more consistent and hit the ball a bit deeper, change direction a bit more. Sounds like a lot but it isn't for Igor when he's confident.

Hope he scratches out this win.

Did Laury dye his hair darker, or does it just look that way on the stream? I almost didn't recognize him. Maybe he's trying to look more Italian, haha. #serioustennisquestions

Anyway, it's into a first set tiebreak now. Middelkoop is being very pissy.

Annnd Grigelis with a tiebagel, 7-0. Matwe just tanked at the end, slapping a forehand return way long and wide. He's really agitated with the chair umpire about something.

Editing to further add: Laurynas gets break in the 2nd set, Matwe screams a bit, and a huge gust of wind almost knocks over the courtside umbrellas. It's all happening.

didn't expect Economidis to put such a fight
