Nadal, one of the tournament favourites, gets startled in straight sets to a gentlemen who played well out of his element. Very unexpected and thrilling.
Rusty winded back the clocks and played his best tennis in years. An amazing performance, crushing an in-form Stan and made only 11 UE's in a comfortable straight set victory.
Federer put on a wonderful exhibition of grass-court tennis.

A big name losing because he was horrible? No.
Saturday was a great day, two great grasscourtsers won titles, that should happen whenever there's a tournament on grass. Mahut-Lopez Wimbledon final would be an awesome day for tennis.

I know I am going on a limb but this is the best day in the khistory of tennis. Without a shadow of a doubt, the best day since allies defeated Germany decades ago.

Keep in mind, this isn't a Nadal hate thread. We just all love seeing the underdog rise and shatter expectations - this is the beauty of sport. Not only that, but Nadal losing vastly opens the draw and makes the tournament much more thrilling and unpredictable.
I don't like Nadal. However, this isn't a good day because it officially marks the end of an era. It was the manner of the defeat which I really didn't like. Nadal's declining because of his injuries as oppose to his age. I doubt he will be a factor off clay. I hope I'm proven wrong!
