live unveiling of the brackets will be available here. at 5 pm eastern.

Will Virginia be the #1 overall seed despite being #2 in the rankings right now to UCLA?

Who will be the last team in the field between Michigan State,San Diego State and Columbia?

Rooting for UVA, win that elusive title already
they got a dream draw. They were given the #2 seed as UCLA was given #1 even though UCLA has 1 loss and UVA is undefeated. But UVA's draw is better. Their potential seeded opponents till the final if the seeds hold are, #15 Florida, #7 Tennessee, #3 Georgia. So they avoid UCLA,USC and Ohio State, all 3 of them are in the other side of the draw. Those are the only 3 I could see upsetting Virginia.

I was in Knoxville today to watch the 6 hour match heart breaker. Tennessee beat Clemson 4-3.

I will have a full report tomorrow.

There have been some big upsets in this tournament. Denver beating Florida was the biggest by far. First time I can ever recall a 4 seed knocking off a 1.

Georgia able to be beat Oklahoma without Singh. Looks like they are coming together as a team.

Baylor let USC off the hook there. They took doubles and had the lead on 4 courts at one point. The crown wobbled but the king remains alive.

I think Libetis just sprained his ankle, that's probably the match, not like Tennessee had a chance at winning this anyway. Amazing get on a serve let cord by Jarmere Jenkins, it has to be said.

What a contrast in styles between the Tennessee and UVA players. The Vols sure like to serve and volley and close in on the net a lot, Williams somehow missed the memo when he went there. What is on Ryan Shane's back?

Hope Libietis is ok to go for the individual championships. Really should have won in straights but he let Jenkins hang around then of course got injured. Talented player. Excited to see how he improves and it will be interesting to see when he goes pro.

Great stuff yesterday. Unfortunately I was traveling so I wasn't able to watch.

Big match from Novikov to step up and beat Cunha 6-4 6-4. Cunha's first dual match loss of the season.

Even though he won, I kinda understand why he struggled so much in the futures. The longer the points, the higher the percentage of him committing silly unforced errors (especially off rally shots on the forehand side). Some of the misses were not even close to the baseline

Re: 2013 NCAA Tournament: Final Four set. A new champion will be crowned.

Novikov vs Rola will be a firecracker. Rola crushed Gomez 6-1 6-0 and Novikov overcame Cunha. That will be a crucial match in what will be a very close match between UCLA and Ohio State. UCLA is the favorite at 3,5 and 6 while Ohio State the favorite in doubles and court 2. The match will be won and lost at 1 and 4. McCarthy is showing a lot of steel lately and will probably out fight Mkrtchian at 4. That will leave #1 as the decider.

recap on my prediction:

Ohio State wins doubles
Kobelt beats Giron at 2
McCarthy beats Mkrtchian at 3

Puget beats Smith at 3
Thompson beats Diaz at 5
Sell beats Christ at 6

#1 the decider.

UCLA and Ohio State at 3-3. Kobelt and Giron to decide it. Giron leads 5-4 but on serve in 3rd set.
