Mashenka! I hope you'll move fast with minimum problems and hope the Salary Santa comes to you big time
I was out of town the last three days  My friends and I celebrated the Students Day and my name-day and we went to a village in mountains. It was so much fun (and food, and wine, and rakia ) and I came back relaxed and well
tomorrow penny finds out if she passed/failed that exam she took two weeks ago. Penny hopes she passes because if she has to retake that exam she thinks she'll just give up and go home to her little island. the exam is like a dementor. sucks your life out of you. And then she has to prepare for the other exam that's in 3 weeks
awww penguinika Taz believes Pengie has passed. Pengie smart, pengie smart  Taz crosses all his... ahem.. fingers  (Taz has fingers, no?) We'll be good here and no make twouble :smooch:
thanks guys!!! I was freaking out the entire weekend at the retreat, and my boss (prof) who was at the retreat knew I was freaking out. so she secretly told me I passed before the "official" email came.
Well done, fino, you must be glad it's over! I would say you've earned your right to put your feet up for a bit, and do absolutely nothing at all! The brain definitely needs a rest and a clear-out after exams. Then do whatever brings you the greatest happiness and makes you feel most alive.
Tennis-wise, of course, there's the Aegon and Halle grass tourneys (ATP) at the moment (I don't know if they're broadcast in China) and Wimbledon starts on 21 June.
Mine too, I used to practically organise my life around Wimby! 2008 and 2009 were completely rain-free, if memory serves, so fingers crossed this year will be the same.
I don't actually but I am so desperate to go to Wimbledon, don't know if it will ever happen though.
I hope Marat does go to watch, but like you I doubt it.
LMAO at the kitty talk ... I am sooooo not a cat person, but I have to share my life with one ... she is a superstar and I love her to bits, but god she's a diva!! ... and even worse she's now an old diva (she's 11 years old now) so she's a bit like a crazy combination of Elizabeth Taylor + Liza Minelli + an old Mariah Carey
I am not a cat person either, less so, when the cat is a granny (mine is 15 years old) and she is more spoilt and diva-ish (hey, we can gather yours and mine and make VH1 Cat Divas  ) than ever. She doesn't even know what she wants, but Her Royal Catness wants it now and I should stop doing whatever I am doing to analyze her mind and offer my service to her ego
the only thing I would disagree with you on is that there will be no other woman ... our boy Marat will hopefully get some scratches on his back/chest/leg (sorry,, I'm having a moment!!) from some claws other than the feline variety!!
Oh, there will be another woman (women), but she will be in the staff department of the Cat's kingdom  I mean... she will be just one more person to feed her, caress her and a place to snuggle
In other news - The World Cup is starting today :aparty: Forzaaaaa
^It's true! France vs. Uruguay was boooooring! I enjoyed the first match though.
