Was a bit nervous against Seppi but wasn't far from being able to win that match with a bit more polish. Can definitely compete against Challenger level competition.

If he can stomach the financial pain of being a low ranked player, its worth a go ASAP. Playing NCAA probably doesn't offer him much more at this point as his record as a Freshman playing #1 position for his team shows that. Staying more than another year would probably lead to rot.

I'd guess futures...he's in the 600, will be around 560 after the 10 points he gains. That will lead to qualifiers for Challengers. I can see him doing a few futures to boost his rankings then start in the challengers.

He might get WCs in the Challengers in the US in late September, but still I'd say likely to be futures.

EDIT: Forgot he was a qualifer and not an WC, so he actualy gets 35 points...that still only puts in the mid-400s so still likely qualifying range for Challengers

Just took the 2nd set off Nishioka in Granby. Served for it at 5-3, then had 15-30 at 6-5*, then had *5-2 in the TB before saving MP's at 6-5*, and 8-7* with aces.

The continuous delays didn't help him to be fair. No shame in been edged out by the promising youngster.

Lost to Bester in QF of Canada F5 this week. Gets a rematch against Bester in Winnipeg this week.

Haven't heard anything about him turning pro this summer so I assume he's going back for his senior season at UNC next year?

Schnur with a WC in Cary CH this week. No doubt because of the college connection, him playing for UNC. He played there last year as well. Draws Krajicek in round 1

Beats the 3rd seed Krajicek 7-6(4) 7-5. Played pretty well IMO, Krajicek was subpar. Plays Quigley Thursday in round 2. I think Schnur might sweat more than Pospisil, think he changed his shirt 4 or 5 times during the match.

Polansky and Bester both won too. Not their thread but I'm too lazy to post in all of them.

Good win considering his knee looks really bad, weird serve too.

Will play #658 Nick Chappell in R1 of Houston outdoor hard Futures, is a nice fav to win.

Retired in the 3rd set vs. Chappell, can't say for sure why, but the knee has been I think in a knee brace with strapping, so that could be it.

Will play a hard outdoor Futures in Texas if healthy this/next week.
