Ivan will play Monte Carlo,Rome,Hamburg and RG (possibly WTC too).

Re: Clay 2008: *Austrian clay next :tape: *

ivan really did have a shot vs. davydenko and then fell apart...hopefully the doubles wins are giving him some confidence
He had the chance, but he blout it. I was cheering for him for some time, but this seems hopeless...I hope I am wrong and that he can be back again. But he is falling deaper and deaper..:mad::eek:

Re: Clay 2008: *Austrian clay next :tape: *

Has a pretty good draw in Poertschach, qualifier in the first round, Navarro in the second, Querrey in the QF. I think he could make the SF, although Queerey played some good matches this year.

First 2 round he will past without any problems( at least i think) but QF could be interesting.

Re: Clay 2008: *Poertschach: Ivan has a cakewalk till semis *

So maybe Seppi should do so too?
I didn't say he'll lose to Querrey, I said Ivan could make the SF, but with Querrey you never know, he defeated some pretty solid players on clay this year.

Seppi is a pusher and when he has a day off he's total disaster.

Ivan should have no problems in beating Queer boy.
Imo Ljubo is still not that weak that you should consider Sammy Queer as a threat on clay :retard: :haha:

Re: Clay 2008: *Poertschach: Ivan has a cakewalk till semis *

If you think Ivan would destroy Querrey you're wrong. I do think Ivan would beat him, and I never said the opposite, it won't be anything like 6-2 6-3. Maybe 7-5 7-6 or in 3 sets.

Sammy's got a good serve so it might be 6-3 6-4.
But I'm not even convinced Queer will get to the QF's anyway.

Re: Clay 2008: *Poertschach: Ivan has a cakewalk till semis *

Whoever plays the final here will have of played 5 matches in 5 days right before the French. Most players are there to get a few more matches in before the Grand Slam, i dont think too many are interested in being exhausted heading into Paris so we might see surprising results here based on that.

Re: Clay 2008: *Poertschach: Ivan has a cakewalk till semis *

I think it wouldn't be a smart move from Ivan to lose on purpose since I don't think he'll do much in RG. Better get some points here.
