I will edit the OP later and give my views since I have to go to bed now. But lets here it from MTF. What is your expectations for the greatest ever in 2013, at age 31? Haters be careful not to make the same mistake that you have made the last 5 years.

Discuss.

Conservatively, 2 out of the 5 majors (WTF being the fifth).
Without Dull to cheat his way to victory, there should be no stopping the Fedexpress.

I expect to hear a lot of Nein's.I expect him to win zero Masters 1000 titles.I expect Berdy to beat him in at least 2 slam QF's.I expect Rafa and No1e to spank him in remaining 2 slams.I expect him to slip to #5.

i hope for another wimby, a few small event, YEC and a MS.

no need for more, im pretty happy even if he will just win a slam

I said I would edit the OP but I'm just gonna join in the discussion here.

I think Roger is winning his final slam next year guys, and it's going to happen at the USO. He has one more left in him. I can feel it. The last few years he has really clowned up in New York and I think he is due. No more Olympics ti tire him out. He will play both Canada and Cincy and do well. Then he will beat Murray in the semis and Djokovic in the final of the USO. That should have happened this year but clearly he was tired from a long year. His schedule is reduced in 2013 and he will focus on the slams. A record 6th USO is all I really care about. He has done everything else. Getting back to #1 is not important either. He now has the record.

1. Stay in Top 5
2. USO final against Djokovic (still sad that didn't happen this year and we got the worst GS final ever instead)
3. Would be great to see win his 18th slam (preferably at Wimbledon)
4. Beat Mugray again in a slam
5. Beat Nadal again in a slam (but I really don't like the chances of that happening...)

Australian Open:Makes Final; loses to Djokovic
Rotterdam... Wins over Del Potro
Dubai.... Wins Tournament over Djokovic
Indian Wells... Loses to Raonic in the QF
Madrid.... Loses in the SF against Djokovic
Rome... Loses SF against Nadal
French Open... Wins Tournament over Djokovic
Halle... Wins Tournament over Raonic
Wimbledon...Wins Final against Nadal
Toronto... Pulls out due to some "niggling injuries"
Cincinnati... Wins Tournament over Murray
US Open... Loses in SF against Nadal
Swiss Indoor- Adds it during the year, Wins over Del Potro
Shanghai... Loses in Final agains Murray
Paris... Loses Final against Tsonga..
London: Wins Tournament, beats Murray in Final

I'm predicting 7 titles, and 2 slams. The big surprise on the list is the Win at the French Open. He's better on clay than people think and I think he avoids Nadal in the draw (Djokovic beats him in the Semi) and wins the tournament.

I just want another GS, 8th Wimbledon would be almost so good he could retire, but i'll take any of the slams

and also to keep his GS QF streak going, would be fantastic if he could keep it going till RG 2014 as that would mark a full 10 years

few milestones for Legenderer:

-get to 80th career title
-900 match wins
-10 SF in a row at Aussie Open

Federer's accomplishments will push some Rafatards and Noletards further into irrational hate for the GOAT and expose those Noletards and Rafatards as fangirls of one player and not fans of the great sport of tennis.

They close the roof very seldom at AO and even if they do we're talking about real surface, not that stuff cows like to chew.

I hope he wins AO and FO.

No idea what to expect from old Rogie 2013. At his best he can still beat anyone but he cannot hold that level for long.

Would be great if he won another slam. It is certainly possible if he times his form well.

None slams.

hopefully, these timid fedtards on mtf & on tour will be banned. Some were so pitiful, they decided to quit tennis and tennis forums.

low

But I am never surprised with Roger.

Iron man :wavey:.

He should contend on grass but I think the other dudes are more clutch on the other surfaces. Clutch play is what wins slams nowadays. Might snag cinci but that's about it.
