Thanks for th interview, JMG.
I have never seen him play before so it will be interesting to see where he goes. I hope he makes into the qualies at the USO---then I will have a chance to see him live...

QF Petzschner/Kas d. Piccari/Vagnozzi 4-6 6-1 6-3
SF Petzschner/Kas d. Albert-Ferrando/Galvani 6-4 6-1
Petzschner is no.159 in doubles without playing any ATP events. That's why I was angry that he didn't get a WC in Munich or Hamburg. He really has a perfect game for doubles!
Petzschner won his 4th doubles title this year and improved to a career highest rank 148 in doubles.
Waske, Schuettler (and Popp?) have Wildcards for Halle. Maybe Schuettler can give his back, but I don't think they would give the WC to Petzschner.
Grass court tennis starts on Saturday, I hope he will participate.
Now it's clear. They gave the WC's to Waske, Popp and FERRERO! Why do they give a WC to Ferrero? Bad luck here, because with only one withdrawal more, Popp would have been in the main draw directly.
The most difficult match for him should be Elseneer, a total grasscourt specialist like he's written in the books. Not sure if he is going to make it through...

Maybe they gave Ferrero a WC this time because the tournament was afraid of getting another telling off of the Ferrero fans here in the forums as they complained because all WCs went to German non-hopers instead of giving one to Ferrero in Hamburg
The annoying thing is that the loser of the third qualifying round won't get anything while the winner gets 15 points for sure. So he has to beat Elseneer!
Elseneer withdrew. So Petzschner has to finish his match against Delgado tomorrow and then he'll play Nenad Zimonjic at 5pm. I hope it's possible for him. I'm afraid Zimonjic is also one of these big servers.
He already qualified twice in Rosmalen and he has 20 points to defend there, so we can expect him to play there.
