hope she's not scared of heights or this would have really been her worst day ever (apart from 2008 Wimbledon final, for any Fedtard, bad light etc)

How long does it take you to dye your hair?

I let professionals dye my hair. As clumsy as I am, I'm afraid that I would mess up my hair totally if I do that myself.
----

My fedtard-turned Djokotard work mate is no longer a Djokotard.

He came into my office and here is a summary of his rant:
"I used to like Djokovic a lot but his behaviour while in Belgium turned me off big time. What a tosser. He was arrogant and rather unfriendly to fans. Sure, when the cameras were present, he gave autographs and such but once it's just the fans and him with no photographer or camera person in sight, he turned his back on them. He gave only a couple of autographs and left a bunch of fans standing in the cold. He needs to be careful that the success isn't going to his head because that will cost him supporters. Granted, success will always attract fans but still.
...
Djokovic is just arrogant.
Nadal, I'm not a fan but he does seem much more humble and friendly.
Federer is somewhere in between. He can be arrogant and yet, for all that he has achieved, he's still down to earth"
 He's so fickle.
He's back to being a full-time Fedtard.

Found on twitter (via Pico Monaco) but copied from the Bromance thread (where it's posted by Ash**)

:) :)

I remember watching the training sessions in Monte Carlo years ago when Rafa was busy tormenting the ball and his opponent smashed the ball onto the next court. From behind the fence (out of sight), the ball came flying back into the practice court and a face appeared on top of the fence. Monaco with a huge grin on his face. Too bad I couldn't understand whatever the two of them were saying but judging by the grin on Monaco's face and the way Nadal reacted, Monaco was teasing the hell out of Nadal.

How long does it take you to dye your hair?
It's about 10 minutes to apply it, 45-60 minutes to let it act, and after that rinsing untile the water has no colour+conditioner, etc..

That means almost two hours.
As you could understand I couldnt risk missing the match

And speaking about Belgium, didn't Rafa play a dead rubber especially for fans? :inlove:
He did. :inlove:

That means almost two hours.
:speakles:

I take it that you don't need a lot of sleep.

Japan town demands pants for Michelangelo's David

A replica of Michelangelo's Renaissance sculpture David that was erected suddenly last summer is unnerving residents of a Japanese town, with some calling for the naked masterpiece to be given underpants
David with underpants. For heaven's sake.

Men have penises  :speakles:

You'd think that, with all of their advancements in science and technology, they would know that by now ....

And that's not even that....ahem....impressive

Who's this TimeViolation person? AJ's new alias? :D

I remember there being some talk about covering the real David up a couple of years ago, like they used to do, with a fig leaf which I always found utterly daft.
When I was a little girl, looking at paintings of Rubens for example, I wondered on more than one occassion how that leaf or piece of cloth was stuck against exactly the right place without visual aid. :tape: . As an artist, that must be very annoying because it just never looks right.

Oh and about the hair colouring, I let my hairdresser do it and it takes 2 hours over there too. Atm I'm debating wheter to stop dying my hair, au naturel was hugely in last year but I'm still not convinced I should go that way.

Beckham, I can understand why some drool over him but he simply has too many tattoos for me.

This morning, I read an article on how much some of the EU workers/officials get paid compared with some of the top politicians.

For example, our prime minister Elio Di Rup earns 204.460 euro per year (that's pre-taxes) which amounts to about 16.788 euro per month.
An EU-translator earns 12.444 euro per month. A senior EU lawyer gets paid 16.359 euro per month.
:cuckoo:
José Manuel Barroso gets a higher wage than Angela Merkel and Barack Obama.

Some of the EU countries want to cut those earnings down to a more reasonable amount. 90% of the EU officials promptly went on strike yesterday in protest.

 and then, they wonder why people resent the EU.

I like strong and cheerful colors (favorite colors: bright red, orange, turquoise, magenta) but most men I know will go for the more toned down colors: beige, grey, dark blue, black.

I can understand that those men don't go for a colorful outfit but what's wrong with a splash of color: a line on a sweather, a scarf,...

I once bought my brother a scarf with white and black stripes on it which I figured was quite toned down but it was still too bright. So, I bought him what I called a "grandpa" scarf: boring beige. He loved that scarf.

I don't quite understand why it's more accepted for women to wear colors than for men. The most daft theory I can come up with while being low on cafeine this morning is that deep down, men are still hunters, hence the preference for camouflage, thus, toned down colors.

I like bright colors on men too. Just not pink and lilac
Any bright shade of green, blue, orange is OK with me
