Jamie is currently ranked 90 in the world in doubles (his highest ranking ever). His usual partner on the challenger circut is Colin Fleming.
The challenger where I saw him, he partnered with Paul Capdeville because his and Colin's ranking was not high enough. I'll post my photos from the challenger:
with Colin Fleming
with Paul Capedeville
Me and Jamie He was so lovely. He apologized for being sweaty when taking the picture with me.
I've never had the opportunity to see Jamie play or follow much of his career to date. I'd be interested to hear on others opinions on his game and his prospects. Will he be a doubles specialist and does he have the potential to reach the top?
If you are keen on sports then Stirling would be a great choice. It has excellent sporting facilities
Getting back to Jamie now though i really hope we see him and Andy playing doubles against Netherlands next year. He is a great talent and should be given all the help he can get to get into the top 50 or wherever in doubles
Jaime and Andy lost their doubles match against Jim Thomas and Paul Goldstein 7-6, 6-1. They reached the semifinals which is pretty good. Let's hope Jaime's doubles ranking can continue to rise.
When I saw him play, he was playing with Paul Capdeville and they reached the quarters. I think this was their first time playing with each other. You could tell that Jaime was a lot more comfortable out there than Paul was. I really think he could be a solid top 50 doubles player or even higher depending if he gets the right partner.
Jamie Murray, Andy's brother, has become Britain's number one doubles player for the first time at a career-high 88 on the world list, overtaking James Auckland.
Not too sure why Jamie has not played since Tokyo(?) and it doesn't look like he will for the rest of the year. Is he just taking an early break, or is it because he won't get into the ATP events? Hopefully 2007 will be awesome for JM.

We should have Jamie/Kerr playing against Auckland/Delgado. Shame they were both in the same half of the draw but im sure at the start of next season they will be going into these tournaments as top seeds and soon getting direct entry to ATP doubles events.

Agreed. Yes it is a pity that they are in the same half of the draw, though it will be interesting to see who comes out on top and by what score (if they both win in their first & second round matches of course).
