Re: Clay Courts are back! :D

it will be very tought, i think.
in ten days he will have some new medical exams ( is that english? not sure sorry...) and then we'll see. be i haven't heard lots of optimism around here. it seemed not sure at all he would be ok then. But anyway you never know ! i'm hoping he will get well soon and have a great grass season, he looked so sad when he retired, knocking his head with his racquet...

Unless he's very unlucky with the draw and draws some excellent unseeded grasscourter (not that many that come to mind, Mahut and Llodra mainly), he'll basically have one or two rounds to get used to the surface. Let's just hope he'll be fine by then.

Sad end to things, though not entirely unexpected after the match with Thiemo.

Here's hoping he can be fully fit for the grass season.

Yes, I'm also a bit afraid he'd push himself even if he's not fully fit and risk potentially aggravating the injury, home crowd, slam all that, wants to do his best here. Good win today

Well done Jo

Lots of important points defended, just don't push yourself too much if you are carrying an injury

Re: Clay Courts are back! :D

Jo was literally limping at the end of this match. Looked beat tired and was grabbing his back.

Anyone catch what he said in the on-court interview with Leconte? I put together words and am guessing he said he wanted to continue because Roland Garros is special? Aww.

Hoping a day off will help him.
