Get back on track Ferrero and get ready for one of your best tournaments: the French Open

I hope he takes some rest and that it will prove to be what he needs. He should take the lead of his countryman, Rafa, and learn the benefits of a good rest. Juanqui is too good a player to go away. Meanwhile, he has plenty of things going for him outside of tennis. Rest well, Juanqui, and better luck in your next tournaments.

I think Rafa made a good decision to skip Barcelona. He played it smart. Juanqui needs to relax and recharge his batteries. I hope he will be fresher in his next tournaments.

Found himself down 6-0 2-0 after 20-25mins so i hope he realises he needs to do his homewrok next time!
Tommy could've warned him about Giraldo, since he took a similar beating in the AO earlier this year.

Hope JC rests this week and next. He's already played a lot of tournaments this year and to me doesn't look as fresh as he did during the SA swing. Even in MC, where he reached the QFs, he didn't seem to be as aggressive or moving as well.
I agree that these past few weeks JC didn't look as fresh as in February. ...Reaching three finals in a row must take its toll. Even Rafa skipped Barca this year. And JC had to travel to US right after Acapulco, so he didn't have much rest before the European clay court season. And he's no longer in his 20s! He may be physically fine but maybe he's mentally tired... then you tend to lose focus and quickly run out of ideas although we all know he has so much resources especially on clay.
Yesterday I thought maybe he should play another tournament before Madrid but now I think he'd better take a good rest and recharge himself at Equlite.

Anyway, if he bounces back and does well at Madrid, and more importantly RG, these 2 losses won't seem so bad at all.
So true!!

I hope he will take some days off. To relax. And kick ass on grass.

Oh, Juanqui! Were you hurt-or ill? What happened? That was a terrible way to begin my day!

oh. sorry. i was just confused because that was verbatim on a Facebook group thing... and I thought it was kinda weird that it was in both places... I guess I didn't read Jimnik's properly

Well, like I said, his losses this time last year were equally bad. I guess we have to accept he'll always have bad patches like this. We were hoping this year would be different (after super February) but we got our reality check today.

Actually I don't think this will be too significant. The slams are what count so with a decent run at RG or Wimby I'm sure all will be forgotten.
