Re: Should I? or should I not...

I used to use a dampener but now I don't it takes time to get used to but it feels like I have a more lively stringbed and I can better use the whole face of the racket. But the thing most people don't understand is that dampeners merely stop string vibration, not the racket vibration, so using a dampener has a negligable effect.

Re: Should I? or should I not...

Listen, I have the previous version of this racquet, the n code 95 sq inch.
I don´t use a shock dampener because I don´t feel that the racquet vibrates much.
I have other racquet (Slazenger pro braided) that vibrates much more.
This racquet is a very steady one. Try to buy a shock dampener (very cheap) and try using it and not. If you feel no difference, play without, I would say.

Should I? or should I not...

I just bought a K Factor Six.One Racquet (95 sq in). Should I use a shock dampener on it? I know Roger doesn't use one on his so I was wondering what is the advantage/disadvantage of using one?
