he played relatively well in Monte Carlo so I thought he could have carried some of that form over here-apparently not

i cant see him play coz it's really too late nite here...

Heavy rain showers interrupted the second day’s action at the Barcelona Open Banco Sabadell on Tuesday afternoon, forcing a temporary suspension of play as thousands of fans scattered for cover in the grounds of the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona-1899. The rain arrived just as sixteenth seed Feliciano López completed a straight sets win over Jarkko Nieminen. The left handed Spaniard comprehensively beat his Finnish opponent 62 61, despite having lost all five of their previous matches.

Two other matches were under way at the time of the interruption, with Czech Radek Stepanek trailing 1-4 in the second set against Guillermo Garcia López, though the Czech ninth seed won the first 6-4. On Court Three, Viktor Troicki of Serbia was serving for the first set at 5-4 against Russia’s Mikhail Youzhny.

Further play is expected later on at the Godó, where the day’s remaining centre court matches see 2008 finalist David Ferrer take on qualifier Mikhail Kukushkin, before former champion Marat Safin faces Argentina’s Juan Monaco.

I had no idea. Adorable.

Oh well, too bad the Safin/Vemic Reunion Tour 09 didn't last long.

hmmm I don't know if they wanted to win a tournament together again, but that won't be in Barcelona
They lost 3-6 6-3 6-10(super tiebreak) to Stepanek/Troicki

I know. That's like with puppies. They're adowable and you wish they could stay the same but nope, they grow up eventually
