Re: Forum revival thread

Meh, last year he won Rio and Acapulco in consecutive weeks (and on different surfaces even), it's hard to believe he has regressed that much physically in only one year. I think it's the very unfortunate matter of playing 4,5 sets in one day that did him in.

Re: Forum revival thread

Now he will probably miss Indian Wells because he's exhausted from playing Buenos Aires and Acapulco.

I'm sick and tired of his nonsensical scheduling. When will he ever learn? He told us he will adjust to not overplay, but actions speak louder than words.

Poor David! I hope that injury heals and he'll be ready for the U.S. Open.

No, I had my summer weeks off in July; now it's my turn to cover for vacationing co-workers, so no time off to go to Montreal. At least I got to see David here in Toronto last year, in his match vs Roger.

Re: Forum revival thread

David withdrew from Wimbledon with an elbow injury!
Streak of 50 consecutive GS appearances stopped.

Get well soon, Ferru

Re: Forum revival thread

It was raining all the time in Nottingham and the scheduling was crammed, so I doubt he was able to get a lot of practice in, which showed. It's not a big deal. I'm hoping for a fourth round at Wimbledon, a QF would be a bonus.

According to the Twitter page of Nottingham it only got confirmed today, so that's probably why you couldn't find anything. For some reason I already knew it for much longer, can't remember where I picked it up
