can I suggest an alternative?

Federer def. Murray 6-2, 7-5, 6-2 (US Open)

Verdasco def. Murray 2-6, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 (AO)

and then: Nadal def. Verdasco 6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 6-7, 6-4 (AO)
