Actually ISR is a WTA rule. MTF TT's corresponding TB step (4.2.2 Amount of sets given to the winners) counts the number of sets given to the winners in all matches where the player picks the loser, irrespective of the opponent's picks.

Surely you would choose a Grand Slam or Masters Series, then ATP500 and go for the points... Needs to be some sort of specification as to where the WC can be used
Plus, it's inequitable in this way: We have a zillion Brazilian TT players who will have 10 ATP and challenger tournaments in Brazil to fight over the local WC (there's 10 Brazilians just in the top 20!). On the other hand, I count 27 ATP/Challenger events in the US, and only 25 American players.

But I agree the "local wildcard" rule is ill-advised. If it was to work then I believe everyone should have one local tournament. Just pick one, regardless of nationality, and get it registered somewhere.

I would like to know this as well.I was made many promises of a financial nature by the Qatari TT Fed and they never delivered on any of them. I wish to defect for another nation(which I am not sure yet)
