BTW, the origins of the Moutza date back to the Byzantine empire.

I can't believe they (as well as the Herald Tribune and Die Welt) chose that photo. It looks sort of ...comico-tragic.

So hard to tell things with indoor photography.

One more reason all tennis should be played outside.
That's why I took only night matches and rewinded forward to around 9p.m. local time when it is dark. I remember all 4 were played with no roof. Also I provided 2 matches from 2009 and 2 from 2008 in order to be more reliable.

Thanks for all the headlines Tangy.
LOL about the Basler Zeitung, btw I watched the ceremony again and somehow it didn't seem THAT awkward any more, and clearly Roger didn't want to break down crying after he had broken down in the match already. And maybe he just hadn't calmed down by the time of the press conference to spew all the .

What everybody's been waiting for: HEADLINES. although most of them feature the Crying Goat and the UK is clearly biased against Rafa. At least the Aussie press featured Rafa on their front pages.

Tennis is mostly ignored in the US, although Rafa managed to get a small picture on the front page of the NYT, it was so small it wasn't worth grabbing a screencap of. At least he wasn't completely forgotten in all the Super Bowl headlines that dominated the US press that day.

Congrats to Rafa.
