Re: Masters France BNP Paribas

Yes, the FFT website also says he will get 160.000 €, so I guess he gets points for Toulouse too.
He really didn't need the money after Shanghai.

Llodra says it's probably nothing serious, just a little muscular problem because the balls were too heavy, he didn't want to take any risk since he was really in pain. It's not the same problem with the nerve he had last year.

There were 400 points for the win in Toulouse ? I'm wrong ? I say that because of this article (in the middle) http://www.lefigaro.fr/tennis/2008/1...s-la-duree.php I think Gilles finishes first in both and wins 160 000 Euros ?

Re: Masters France BNP Paribas

Simon was only 3rd in the Masters France ranking, I think, JWT and PHM were #1 and #2, so he should get 80.000 € for the win and a bonus of 40.000 € for his 3rd spot.

But yes, the prize money for this event is insane. Jo gave up on possible 160.000 € (he's not injured, just thought it was better to practice).

You're right, it's probably the reason why Llodra played it too.

I guess the prize money was too good to pass up and maybe the injury isn't that serious...

Simon nets 135.000 € from this

Llodra retired (his shoulder is hurting again).
Simon's game was a complete mess according to the reports (especially his serve). He saved one MP in the TB.

A little surprise for me but Llodra very efficient on his serve.

It says Simon now.
Simon won, that's sure, I just listened to his post-match interview. He won ugly, but he won.

Re: Masters France BNP Paribas

Mannarino is still raw as a player, lot of work to be done with consistency, etc.

I still think he deserves the AO WC, there's four more weeks to get ready for it.
