Re: Ranking Watch

Paulo gained one spot in the rankings (Schuettler had Challenger points that came off), so he will finish the year at #31. Right now I just want Paulo to be seeded for the Australian Open (then I will make some bigger goals for him )

Re: Ranking Watch

Since we have a doubles specialist in the making I thought it should be mentioned here that Paulo is now at his highest ever doubles ranking 103 Hopefully we will soon be reporting that he has reached the top 100. This could get exciting

Re: Ranking Watch

I think I'm going to have to look at the Ranking page everyday until his next points come off (just to enjoy it). He's going to have a lot of work to do to get back there again.

I never really imagined him getting that high in the rankings back when I became a WAY TO GO PAULO

Re: Ranking Watch

OK, people... let's celebrate this moment!!!!!!
I don't think it'll be this pretty during the clay court season

As of 7-Apr-08, Paulo is at #12

Re: Ranking Watch

I did e-mail them about it

OK. In the ATP Ranking page, Paulo has 1380 points which is incorrect because they didn't count 175 points from Moscow.

Anyway, in his Points Breakdown page, they corrected it adding points from Moscow instead of 60 points from Basel.

So for this week, he's at #16 as littlepaulette said

Re: Ranking Watch

It seems like the ATP members don't agree on the future of the Kremlin Cup

Don't worry, he should be #16

Re: Ranking Watch

He needs to make at least QFs in both IW and Miami to have a remote chance of entering Top 10 after Miami...

It is possible, but it will surely be a VERY tough one. Paulo has quite a lot of point to defend during the clay court season. 350 pts in Casa and Gstaad. He'll lose at least 60 pts as soon as he plays Rome.
