yes, Sam is playing really well, very motivated and confident, but at sea level this should be an straight sets win for Rafa... but the Madrid's altitude is giving Querrey some chances to win the match

Playing at Madrid with more than 700 meters of altitude never was a good idea.

Spain must be the only country who helps the away team
