You guys are missing the science of shoes here (hear me out before you criticize). ou see people have different shapes and sizes of feat so some shoes don't work for everyone. I for example, have an incredible high arch so I need to buy shoes designed like that cuz I have the same problem as the thread starter. Other people who has flat feet need shoes that accommodate their foot shape. Find a good shoe store to type your feet so you can get the right shoes

Barricade 4's are by far the most durable shoe available, even though I go through a pair every 1 and a half months :[ With any other shoe, though, I'd be through it in a week. BIV's even come with a 6 month warranty

i think that u should try these: http://www.prodirecttennis.com/prodi...&BRAND=36&SS=1
my coach uses them and he plays like 5/6 hrs a day and has always had the same problem as u, but since he found these shoes, he doesnt have to change them as often, cause the leather part above his right foot toe is really strong. plus, they dont look that bad and are relatively cheap, cause its not the new collection.

Normally I play in the summer about 20-25 hours, and the A3 are the most stable and durable shoe by a mile, although the Feathers are nice in hot weather. Much lighter and in a sense your feet can "breathe" better due to the material which has small holes.

Will
Mine always wear out at that exact same location.

I need steel-toed tennis boots.

Hey,
Dont buy trainers that are all leather. Like the pete sampras shoes. Theyre the least durable. Go for the new adidas feather collection or Nikes max beathe cage. I find these the most durable shoes.

The trainers you buy must be shit then, I normally play every day in the summer, wear a couple of different pairs of ADIDAS tennis shoes, and they don't wear out for about 8 months, sometimes wear them in the gym as well...

Re: Wearing through tennis trainers.

Most shoes have a 6-month durability guarantee. Just return them.

I usually purchase 4 pair at a time from a large on-line retailer. I can burn through 3 or 4 pair in that 6 month time period. I then return them to the retailer and they give me store credit. I use the store credit to buy new shoes.

Repeat above every 6 months.
