Re: Andi Beck

i think top 100 is still possible. I just hope that these injuries are out of the way and he can stay healthy

Re: Andi Beck

But I sadly doubt that he can return in the rankings where he once was, he was out for too long.

But at lest he is playing again!

Re: Andi Beck

Andi withdrew from Barletta as he is still struggling with his back, so his next scheduled event will be Casablanca the week after next. He will need a decent result to assure his RG position so hopefully, he can manage at least a QF at the event. Most important is that he gets fully healthy and is able to start playing pain-free, higher-quality tennis.

Re: Andi Beck

Andi won his second round match over Ryderstedt 7-6 4-6 6-3 but lost in the QF's to Dustin Brown 6-7 6-4 4-6. Unfortunately as he was defending finalist points, his ranking has fallen from the top 100 to #104. He still has the semifinal points to defend from Monza and Rome last season as well, so Andi is in a bit of danger of not making the French directly. Hopefully he can start playing better on the clay. His next tournament will be Barletta, the week after this one.

Re: Andi Beck

Andi won 6-1 6-2 over Golding in the first round of Bath. Very easy win and one that should give him confidence for his next matches. He plays qualifier Michael Ryderstedt in the second round on Thursday. Hopefully he brings his form from his first round match and rests well for his match on Thursday.

Re: Andi Beck

Andreas is on a five match losing streak headed into this weeks' event in Bath, Great Britain. After withdrawing from his second round match with Federer in Australia, Andi has lost first round of Zagreb, Marseille, Dubai and the Sarajevo challenger. Andi is defending finalist points this week so he needs a good run to maintain his top 100 ranking. The next few weeks will be very important for Andreas as he also defends two semifinals in back-to-back weeks in early April. Hopefully he can get his season back on the right track starting this week in Bath.

His first round opponent will be Oliver Golding, a WC from Great Britain. He's a talented youngster so it won't be easy for Andi. GL to Andreas, let's wish to see him get off to a good start here with a comfortable win!
