Re: Olympic games

irish i can see that you recognise a guy called phelps too

yeah swimming cycling but a lot of other things too, including a limping woman who came in 5th in an athletic event

i even got to see table tennis matches, but not tennis

so what did you get on telly? i'm afraid our commentators hadn't kept us very up to date on great britain's achievements.....

Re: Olympic games

LOL! I'm guessing you've seen an awful lot of cycling and swimming. Are the guys still wearing speedos in your 1970s world, because I could live with that.

Re: Olympic games

irish, i hate to say it, but it seems to me that he wants the lifestyle of a top player, without the results of one. well.... who doesn't? he needs to figure a few things out.

as for tennis coverage.... here in aus we are living in the 70's (as the song goes) which means, tennis wasn't a part of the olympics, as yet

glad to hear you have other happy events going on!

Re: Olympic games

I bet you could!

Married?! Gosh. That's lovely if he is, but I'll believe it when there's been an proper announcement.

Very sad for Nono's results in the 'Lympics. Very sad for Nono's results, generally. I agree Via, I just don't know why he isn't playing more matches. HIs ranking is slipping so low.

I got very little tennis coverage, but have managed to keep myself busy with other events.

He can come here! I'm sure I could keep him busy.

(My husband is in New York for the next week...)

Re: Olympic games

arnaud isn't committed to playing anywhere else before us open.... so where else will he go?

really..... given his recent performances he should consider playing more smaller tourneys like long island... but he's skipping them as if he's a top 10 player
