I would be very surprised if there were not two or more additional withdrawals. They will run out of LL's!

That's pretty disgusting indeed. Well, perfectly in line with one of those current Disney Deville-ideas to keep entry lists a secret in the near future.
It's a disgrace to all the fans buying tickets in the expectation their fav will turn up. And to the player as well, BTW.

He should get fined - or indeed, catch the $$$$ and tank his first match. We'll see what happens. Neither is a pretty sight, IMHO...

I just heard from someone in Serbia that Nole said in the post DC press conference that his next tournaments are Vienna, Madrid, Paris and Shangai. No mention of Bangkok. That goes right along with what he said to the press a week ago and what his official website says.

The single main draw is out on the official website. Nadal is out, but Djokovic and Roddick are in, along with Moya, Feli, Tursunov, Haas, Becker. The link for main draw is here, http://www.thailandopen.org/2007/draws/MDS.pdf

whatever floats your boat, I mean most sports have found that cheerleaders , that's what they are right , help with attendance and calm down the public which is all good

The star-studded meet will take place from September 22 to 30 at the Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, with more than 70 world-class players including No 2 Rafael Nadal and powerful server Andy Roddick participating.

Organisers BEC Tero Entertainment provided a training course for the beauty contestants, teaching them the rules and regulations of the game on Saturday.

Wild-card Danai Udomchoke said the presence of the beauties will make it more than a tennis competition. "Spectators will be entertained not only by the form of the players but also the beauty of the ball girls.

"It's a good idea. Players quickly get over their fatigue when they see them smiling and handing towels," Danai said.
