:wavey:

Well I dont think he has one, and even if he does it is probably lost somewhere. Reached the final last week in the Sunrise challenger beating some good opponents on the way before losing to Monfils.

Today he just beat Dorstch to qualify for his 2nd master series in a row and hopefully his improving form can continue within the tournament with a good draw.

There are also some very good players. Seppi can at least reach the QF before a difficult opponent would surely await there, but first match is also not easy.

#82 ·
Seppi plays Jan Minar and just hope he can get the victory in this one as well.

#84 ·
yeah, good result in the biggest Challenger
Ulihrach should be very though considering his recent form and his good record in Czech Challengers

#85 ·
Bohdan won't be easy at all, but if Andy can hold his ground at the baseline and bring the big Czech forward, then he has good chances of making the semis.

#86 ·
Seppi lost to big Bohdan 3-6 6-2 7-6(4)

Tough one for sure leading 4-2 in the 3rd set and then having a match point at 5-6, these are the matches he has to win.

These are the matches he always seems to lose too. He is not 19/20 anymore and so now its not a coincedence of being young. He just hasnt got the mentally to be a top player on the ATP tour. He shows signs of being a top player even against the best but then loses in the end as always.

Guccione first up for Seppi at Queens. A quite difficult match up on grass. Guccione was a winner of the juniors title at Wimbledon once I think, or at least runner-up. Anyway its difficult, but not impossible. Seppi got to the SF of Nottingham before so he has some good abilties on the surface. His ground strokes go through the surface more as he is very good on both wings (but not very damaging either). Hopefully he can get a couple of wins here for confidence although Im not expecting much.

#89 ·
not much chance IMO, especially considering he's coming from clay and Gooch already played in grass this week. But if he serves well, who knows

#90 ·
I don't expect too much from this event, it will take some time to get adjusted to the surface.

#91 ·
Seppi is in a bit of trouble. He has an SF from Nottingham to defend and at the moment he is not even in the MD there or at Holland due to his low ranking, so he may need to qualify. However good news is that for the rest of the year he has very little points to defend. Hopefully he can have some decent draws in the rest of the year and also may need to play some challengers.

#92 ·
Seppi is in Rosmalen and he is playing Peya in the 1st round.

#94 ·
good win

beating Peya 6-4 6-4

#95 ·
Seppi now plays big Ivan Ljubo in the next round.

#96 ·
Decent result. He can beat Ljubo IMO if he just feels confident. Seppi plays quite well against the big guns, he actually plays well most of the time, but he just lacks the belief he can win the matches. Federer in Monte Carlo is a great example.

#97 ·
Ljubo won in straight sets just served too well.

#98 ·
Well Seppi is now down to 110-115 in the rankings. he needs at least 2nd round of Wimbledon to defend last years points. Then the rest of the year he has fewer points to defend so he can start again in some ways.

RODDICK, Andy USA [3] vs GIMELSTOB, Justin USA
UDOMCHOKE, Danai THA vs BERLOCQ, Carlos ARG
VERDASCO, Fernando ESP vs REYNOLDS, Bobby USA (Q)
SEPPI, Andreas ITA vs HRBATY, Dominik SVK [31]

Seppi got one of the better seeds to play, but just hope he can make the 2nd round this time around.

#100 ·
If Seppi is on his game he can reach the 3rd round (Verdasco not in great form, Reynolds is good, but beatable of course)... however for sure Seppi shoukd beat Hrbaty in round 1 and if he doesnt it would be disappointing.

#101 ·
After a tough set Seppi winning 10-8 in the TB, then the last 2 sets were easy 6-1 6-2.

Seppi 7-6 6-1 6-2 and now will more than likely play Verdasco.

#103 ·
Seppi lost in straight sets to Verdasco, though this wasn't a surprise as Verdasco is very talented when his head is screwed on correctly.

Now Andy can come back to Torino and get some matches for the summer clay events.
