Re: Generali Open 06

I was looking on your website Sara and found some pictures from the Generali Open player's party at the casino.
I'm wondering what was written on Nico's shirt he was wearing.
Can't read more than "I would only ???"
It's the shirt on this picture:

Re: Generali Open 06

All week Nico played really well. It was a shame he lost to Fernando but the weather was not as nice and sunny as it had been all week. There was a short rain delay in the second set when he was already 1-4 down and at that point I moved from the camera pit at courtside up to the top and started cheering for him really loudly. I think me getting on his case really gave him a lift. He had 3 break chances in the first game back after the break (on Nando's serve) but didnt take advantage.

There was some women sitting by us and they said that he definitely took notice of my support and wondered whether I was his sister or something. I said I was a friend and they said I must be a good friend because my cheering seemed to give him renewed energy to make the score much more respectable at the end.

Re: Generali Open 06

Yeah it was a great tournament for him and he actually was down 5-1 in the second set and faught back to 5-4. The thing that sux is that he had breakpoints the last game, which if he had one would have givin him 5 games in a row, but he didn't take his oppurtunities. Nevertheless, a very successful tournament. He's improving alot

Nico lost to Fernando Verdasco 6-4 6-4 but another good tournament for Nico, his form is certainly improving.

Re: Generali Open 06

Very routine These wins are really impressive. Verdasco is gunna be tough obviously, but I think if he keeps playing like this he's got a chance.

Re: Generali Open 06

Nico just won 7-6(12-10) 6-3 over Zib. He was ahead multiple time during the match. I believe he had served for the set mulitiple and it took him like 4 set points to finally convert but the second was more smooth sailing.

Good luck vs Davydenko!!!
