All right, if they were only 10 in the 70's, they are not really that old, may be only 50 if they started to watch at around 1976.

Early 90s. Graf and Seles got me interested.

2000s for me-Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal were the ones who got me started watching tennis.

I became a tennis fan when I was 10 years old in 1993.... I was watching the Canadian Open with my dad and became a fan immediately. I just went to look at the draw and all of the big names were bounced early in the tournament. It was won by some Swedish guy named Mikael Pernfors whom I definitely do not remember...

Early '60s. Rod Laver vs Ken Rosewall indoor exhibition in Vancouver. Canada vs Mexico Davis Cup doubles on grass around the same time. Exciting match. Loyo Mayo and Lara I think, two youngsters, just a little over my age then (and now).

Fedalovicray4 I voted 2000s but it's really 2010s for me.

When I was 10 I watched Wimbledon 2008 and became a Federer fan that didn't watch matches but would play as him in the video games. During 2011 I discoved tennis again and jumped on the Djokovic bandwagon.

2013 is when I became a real tennis fan, after watching the French Open and Wimbledon that year I was truly exposed to Rafa/Fed/Delpo/Murray and became interested in the history of tennis and ive been following the sport ever since.

I was partying with the likes of Mark Philippoussis, Pat Rafter, and John Newcombe when a nearby television set displaying a withering grass court grabbed my attention. I was fascinated by the sport and finally understood the aforementioned mens' profession.

I began watching tennis in 2012 from Wimbledon. I knew who Federer was and what the current situation was. I know that everyone was calling him old and saying he was past it. So I supported him for the tournament and it was a roller-coaster. Nearly going out to Benneteau, Suffering back injuries in the 4th round, to taking down the world no.1 and GOATing against Murray in the final. When he reclaimed his world no.1 title, I just thought I'm gonna support this guy as long as he's playing and see how long he can maintain this standard. Obviously, I figured he'd win more majors which didn't happen but it's been a fun journey from that point!

I think my first memory of a tennis match was Becker - Sampras WTF 96 or something. great match with a lot of drama. Than I remember some casual slam matches from Hingis against Williams and that famous FO-final against Graf. My mom was a huge Hingis fan in these days and the WTA tour was probably as big as the man's tour. Maybe even bigger.
Than Agassi - Sampras USO 99,Agassi - Mednedev FO 99, Ferrero - Costa FO-Final. 2000 Ivanisevic - Rafter Wimby 2001 and Roddick - El Aynaoui AO 2003. I didn't wach a lot tennis. But when I did I've seen the best matches.^^
AO 2003 (also because of the "famous" Schüttler run) was the first slam I followed for a whole.
And then the Federer - Nadal rivalry really hit me.
