Re: Tennis Tipping Suggestions/Questions Thread

It'd be just to make the game more realistic and to give some problems with lists and draws to the managers, cause here we can play tournaments in one place and qualies in another. It's not a problem since they're different competitions. Not something wrong that can't be accept SEs might be implemented anyway.

I cant believe guille&tati4life and Alonso are playing qualies next week............. !!!
They are the singles finalists in my tournament!!!!!

I think we should implement SE next year.......

Re: Tennis Tipping Suggestions/Questions Thread

we could change the entry system to:
Half the players for ranking and the other half for order of commitance.
How about it?

2. No, it is not possible for your tips to be doubled if your partner fails to send in tips. Somebody has recently brought this up as a potential rule change for next year and it has been discussed in the 2007 Rules & Changes Thread. Personally, I'm against it as it can lead to complacency on the part of some players who may not bother to send in their tips if they know their partners' can be used.
Thanks Gav
1- in TMS Madrid they announced that was provided to replace a non play TB1 (and that was what they said to me, that I lost because it was only used for a non played TB1. They didn't say to me that it was a mistake that had been corrected on time ).
I don't question my defeat (it's a lost thing). I only suggest that, if for whatever reason, there is provided a TB2 in a 2nd round match, the most logical would be to use it before TB2 from previous round

2- today I read in Buenos Aires Challenger thread that several managers had considered it valid during this year. Then is something that is due to uniform between managers

Thanks again Gavnich77

1/ in some rounds it has been implemented a TB2, with the intention of replacing the TB1 if this is not played for whatever reason.
This seems perfectly reasonable.
My question is: if this TB2 exists, in case of a tie, why not to use it before using the TB of the previous rounds? Take a look at this post http://www.menstennisforums.com/show...&postcount=772, I ended up losing one 2nd round match by TB2 from a 1st round (in spite of have won TB2 of 2nd round, that was not used )

2/ This year I've lost several times in doubles by playing alone
And now I just find out that in the case of Doubles, it's possible to send my picks and picks of my partner just in case he/she couldn't send them.
If this is right, I could have avoided some defeats, if I had sent my picks with a message like this: "just in case of no picks from my partner: consider these same picks for him"
is that right?

Thanks

Re: Tennis Tipping Suggestions/Questions Thread

Singles ranking I would say and only 2 players per team. 2/3 of each tie are singles.
